SCHOOL KALOTSAVA HELD

Inauguration

         The Annual School Kalotsava was held on 1-2 Nov. with energetic participation of all the students. Sri Sundaran, Vice President of PTA inaugurated the programme. Sri Narayanan P. Principal in charge (HSS) presided over.
   

'Kalarava' published

Sri Vishnu Bhat A. Headmaster welcomed all to the programme.  Grama Panchayath Members present in the programme presented memento and Notebooks to the beneficiaries. Smt. Sharada M. General Convenor of Kalotsava, Sri Charles A., Staff Secretary, Sri Raghavendra K. Sr.Asst, and Sri Shashiraja N. HSST. spoke on the occasion.

Anusha felicitated

        The programme witnessed two special occasions also. Kum. Anusha K who had participated in the National Level Taekondo competition after winning the State Level was felicitated by presenting a memento  and the publication of 'Kalarava' a manuscript prepared by the students. Sri Gopalan , Member of PTA
released the book.

Distribution of Notebooks.

        Smt. Vilma Victoria D'Souza , Non-teaching Staff member of the school  showed her tenderness by presenting Notebooks to 31  needy students on the same occasion which proved a moment of heartfelt generosity.

        Enthusiastic students presented  a colourful performance of various cultural  and art forms for two days and created an atmosphere utmost enjoyment and recreation.
       While the winners were awarded with trophies and certificates other participants felt proud over their performance. The young spectators encouraged each and every performer with loud applause and cheer.

SPORTS MEET

     The Annual School Sports Meet was held on Oct. 20,21 with a colourful March Past by the Students. Sri Vishnu Bhat A. Headmaster received the Salute and Sri Narayanan P. Principal in Charge declared the Meet open.  The PTA President Sri Venugopalan  spoke on the occasion.

      Sri Mohammed Iqbal, School Sports Secretary administered the Oath. Members of PTA Executive Committee, Staff and all the Students were present.

    The students took part in various competitions with true sportsman spirit and made the programme a grand success.

TRIBUTE TO THE MAHATMA

              A befitting tribute was rendered to the Father of the Nation by cleaning the premises.

Though the surrounding had  been kept clean everyday as a routine  the students along with the staff commemorate the great soul on his birth day.

             The Headmaster Sri Vishnu Bhat A. presided over the programme and reminded about the life and service of the Mahatma to Indians and to the whole world.
            The staff and the students took part in remembering great soul by symbolically taking up principle 'work is worship'.

FELICITATION

Sri Charles A. gets Double honours 

       

Sri Charles A. HSA Malayalam  has won two prizes for his creativity-  the First Prize in a State Level Essay Competition conducted by the Women wing of National Teachers Union .  

               The second award was for publishing a book- from among teachers  who published works for the past five years instituted by Freedom Fighter Sri Vishnu Nambisan Trust, Nileshwar.

The School honoured Sri Charles A. on this DOUBLE achievement.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

Special Assembly heldon 23-8-2016 and recited the National Anthem in connection with the valedictory function of 70th Independence Day Celebrations

INDEPENDENCE DAY

            The 70^th Independence day was celebrated in the school with patriotic spirit and fervour amidst the threatening monsoon.

            Sri Venugopalan , PTA President hoisted the flag in the backdrop of patriotic song. Sri Narayanan.P. Principal in charge of HSS, Sri A Vishnu Bhat Headmaster and Sri Charles A, Staff Secretary addressed the gathering.

       
        Representatives of old students of SSLC 2000 batch were present on the occasion to recollect their childhood and served the gathering with delicious sweets to commemorate their precious moments in the school.

FREE UNIFORM

FREE UNIFORM DISTRIBUTED

The Free Uniform supplied through SSA Project was distributed to about 140 students of Std VIII by Sri Venugopalan PTA President, Sri Vishnu Bhat A., Headmaster. Sri Vishwanatha B., PET and all teachers  and parents were present on the occasion.

INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF PULSES

YOGA DAY CELEBRATED

The Headmaster Sri Vishnu Bhat A inaugurated and Sri Rajesh Bellige  gave training in Yoga.

ENVIRONMENT DAY

 They understood the Importance of Environment.

 They expressed and exhibited their concern through colours with strong messages.

 The concern will
 not fade out from 
their minds. As it
 is innate.

They resolved to get into action. The department joined hands with a variety of saplings. The small plants would travel through young hands to a fertile soil to mark their existence and also inside the young minds.

Along with the department 

Sri A Vishnu Bhat, Headmaster distributed the saplings to young hands and minds to save the environment and through it the whole world !

 All the teachers supported with words of blessings and guidance.

No doubt, the young hands of GVHSS Mulleria work together with likeminds of the whole of Kerala, the whole of India and of the whole world would make wonders.

PRAVESHOTSAVA-2016

         A warm welcome was given to the newcomers to Std VIII and other classes by the PTA,Staff and Senior students. They were led into the school premises in a warm procession in the backdrop of the welcome song.
           The whole school gathered in an assembly in the gracious presence of Sri. Venugopalan ,PTA President, Smt. Usha MPTA President, Sri Mehmood PTA Vice President , Sri Vishnu Bhat A, Headmaster, Sri Narayanan P, Principal in charge of HSS, PTA members, Staff members and wished a prosperous academic year to achieve the best goals, to face great challenges and shape an excellent career.
    The Top Scorers of VHSE and HSS were honoured in the occasion with memento and shower of blessings and goodwishes for further education.  Felicitaion was given to the cutie NMMS winner also.
