The State Level Programme to cover Mother earth with greenery "HARITHA VANAM" was inaugurated by Sri N.A.Nellikunnu MLA Kasaragod on 25 June. A Medicinal Plants Garden was also inaugurated on the occasion by Sri Abdul Razak P.B. MLA Manjeshwar. Sri B.M. Pradeep President Karadka Block Panchayath Presided over the programme.Smt Sujatha Thanthri President Karadka Grama Panchayath,Member of Kasaragod District Panchayath,Members of Karadka Block Panchayath and Grama Panchayath, District Programme Officers of NSS and other Dignitories,Office bearers of the PTA, Staff and students were present on the occasion.
Forestation of an area of about an acre of land was initiated alongwith the Garden for Medicinal Plants with a view to enrich the natural wealth of the locality.
