Training held at GVHSS Mulleria

         BLEND Training for HMs of UP,UP and High Schools held on  26 and 27-12-2014 at various centres across the district . The one day training is aimed at enabling the Heads of Institutions to control and maintain the blogs of the respective schools with timely postings and deletions.

      The programme includes familiarising blogs of different schools, typing in Kannada and Malayalam fonts, creating,modifying and deleting posts, familiaring the pages and tabs through layout, modifying photos and inserting them to the blogs. The training also aims at enabling them to post comments to posts in other blogs as a mark of feedback.

The novel programme is being conducted at 14 centres in the 7 sub districts under the guidance of DIET Kasaragod and IT@ School with administrative support of the Department.

PLASTIC FREE KARADKA PANCHAYATH

SRI JAGANNATHA K.-PTA PRESIDENT

        In accordance with the movements to make our environment plastic free the Karadka Grama Panchayath has decided to announce the area 'Plastic free' with effect from November 15. As a move they have initiated the move to create awareness over the need. Accordingly a widespread campaign in this regard is launched today involving special Assemblies in all schools of the panchayath and oath about eradication of plastic at 10.00 a.m.  
          In the afternoon a rally including Panchayath Members, Members of political parties, representatives of Merchants' Asssociation, General Publilc alongwith the students and staff of schools , went round the town to create an awareness among the public and the merchants regarding the hazards of excessive use and problems caused by the plastic and the need to use other eco friendly alternatives.

THE OATH

       Accordingly all the students of the school assembled and took the pledge to make our Panchayath a plastic free one and start the use of cotton bags instead. The PTA President Sri Jagannatha addressed the students and called on them to practise the healthy, plastic free practice. Sri Narayanan P. Principal in charge of HSS section, Smt. Chandraprabha K. Sr. Asst of HS, Ssri Shahul Hameed HSST, and Sri Charles A. H S A also addressed the students. 
           Later all students and the teachers took the oath. The students were also prompted to keep the campus always clean especially about plastic. The NSS unit is in charge of monitoring the cleanliness of the campus wherein all the students are equal partners in the campaign.

           Sampoorna ಸೈಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ 10ನೆಯ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನಾ೦ಕವನ್ನು ನವ೦ಬರ್ 10ರ ವರೆಗೆ ಮು೦ದೂಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಜತೆಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಫೋಟೋಗಳನ್ನೂ upload ಮಾಡುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು. 10 ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಫೋಟೋಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ upload ಮಾಡುವ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವೂ ಇದೆ.

           ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯೆ೦ದರೆ ಈ ಪುಟದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ, ಮಗುವಿನ Bio data ಇರುವ ಪುಟದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಆ ಫೋಟೋ ಕಾಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ತ೦ತ್ರಾ೦ಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊ೦ಡಿರುವ ನ್ಯೂನತೆಯಿ೦ದ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಕೊ೦ಡಿದೆ. ಫೋಟೋದ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅದರ ಹೆಸರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ.

        ಆದರೂ ಮಗುವಿನ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಫೋಟೋ ಹೌದೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಇನ್ನೊ೦ದು ದಾರಿಯಿದೆ.

       Sampoorna ದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪುಟದ ID card ಮೆನುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಲಿಕ್ ಮಾಡಿ select a class-->select a division-->Generate ID Card ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಒ೦ದು ಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ 8 ಮಕ್ಕಳ೦ತೆ ಫೋಟೋ ಸಹಿತ ID Card ಸಿಗುವುದು. ಇದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿ ಬೇಕಾದ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಹುದು.

        ಒ೦ದು ವೇಳೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ನವ೦ಬರ ಮೂರು ಯಾ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ   Pareeksha Bhavan  ಸೈಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುವ A

               The most awaited School Kalotsava has commenced- with awesome jubilation and unending fervour! The 29^th day of October was marked like this in the school.

          The three day festival was declared inaugurated by the beloved PTA President Sri Jagannatha, making the enthusiastic children plunge into the sea of joy and enjoyment. Sri Vishnu Bhat A.,Headmaster of HS presided over the programme and Sri Narayanan P , Principal in charge of HSS  was the Chief Guest.

THE GENERAL BODY MEETING OF PTA

NEW PTA EXE. COMMITEE SWORN IN

The General Body Meeting of the school PTA held today (20 Oct. 2014) elected a new Executive committee for the current year. The meeting was presided over by Sri Madhava Bhat K. President with the esteemed presence of the whole Executive Committee alongwith most of the Parents and all the Teachers and staff. Smt Sudha ,HSST and Sri Vishnu Bhat A, Headmaster presented the Report of the activities of the current PTA. Sri Raghavendra K, Sr. HSA presented the details of Accounts and the budget for the current year before the members. The gathering approved both the report and accounts with a loud applause.

THE ANNUAL  SPORTS  MEET  HELD

The Two day Annual Sports Meet of the school was flagged off with a colorful March Past. The 800 odd students belonging to HS,HSS and VHS stamped their foot around the school ground for an enthusiastic March Past wherein Sri Vishnu Bhat A, Headmaster received the Salute of the Athletes.

           The VHS Celebrates Silver Jubilee

                 The golden moments have started-the Silver Jubilee of VHS section of GVHSS Mulleria. The Year-long celebration was inaugurated today(Oct.9). Sri N.A. Nellikkunnu , MLA,Kasaragod inaugurated the programme who appraised the Academic Excellence of the school and assured some assistance for the improvement of the Institution. Smt. Syamaladevi P.P. District Panchayath President presided over the programme and wished for better performance in the coming years.

The distinguished guests Sri Binulal Unni , cine-script writer addressed the audience about his memories of Kasaragod . He also contacted another Chief Guest and the famous Poet Sri Kureepuzha Srikumar over phone,who addressed the audience over phone. Sri Thimmayya, and Smt Prameela C Naik, members of District Panchayath, Smt. Sujatha R Thanthri President, Karadka Panchayath. ward members of Karadka Panchayath,Sri Madhava Bhat K, PTA President, Sri C Balan, Sri Balakrishna Rai showered good wishes to the institution.

CLEAN INDIA- CLEAN KERALA

Launching of 'Clean India, Clean Kerala Abhiyaan'

              The unique 'Clean India, Clean Kerala' abhiyaan was launched in the school on acccount of the 146^th Jayanthi celebration of the Father of the Nation – Mahatma Gandhi. In a simple function held at the school hall the Headmaster Sri Vishnu Bhat A, kicked off the mission which was carried on by the enthusiastic student force .

The teachers Sri E.V.Purushothaman, Sri Charles A , addressed the students to make them aware of cleanliness, Gandhiji's dream of a Clean India and the Nationwide Abhiyaan 'Swachch Bharath' Within no time they went around the school campus searching for each and every piece of waste, collected them and dumped in the compost pit kept ready in a corner.

Since due importance has been given to clean campus as a routine the students did not need to struggle much.

They, alongwith all the staff present, vowed to keep the campus always clean, to maintain personal cleanliness and to promote others towards the goal.

ಸಹಪಾಠಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಹಸ್ತ

        ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಹಪಾಠಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಅಳಿಲು ಸೇವೆಯ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಿ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು  ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಮೆರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹತ್ತನೆಯ 'ಎ'ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮನೋಜನ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮಿಂದಾಗುವಂತೆ ಸಹಾಯ ನೀಡಲು ಮುಂದಾದ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ಜೊತೆ ಹೊಚ್ಚ ಹೊಸ ಸಮವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

         ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸರಳ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎ. ವಿಷ್ಣು ಭಟ್ ಈ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮನೋಜನಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು.ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್. ಗಣಪತಿ ಭಟ್, ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣ ಎಂ. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಚಂದ್ರಪ್ರಭಾ ಕೆ., ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.ಸಹಪಾಠಿಗಳಾದ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ಲೀಡರ್ ಭಾಗ್ಯಾ,,  ಶ್ರೀಜಾ ರೈ, ನಿಶ್ಟಿತಾ, ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ, ಸುಪ್ರೀತಾ, ಸಂಧ್ಯಾ,, ಸುರಕ್ಷಾ, ವಿನೋದ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಸಂದೇಶ್, ಸಚಿನ್ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಉತ್ತಮ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೋರಿ ಶುಭಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ತನ್ನ ಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೆರವಾದ ಗೆಳೆಯ ಗೆಳತಿಯರಿಗೆ ಮನೋಜ್ ಮನಸಿನಾಳದ ನುಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದನು.  

        ಕಲಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದಿರುವ ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತನಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ ಶುಭ ಕಾಮನೆಗಳು.

INDIA TO MARS : CELEBRATED

             The success of India in the victory of reaching the Mars was celebrated in the school .  A special Assembly  of all the students was held on 24 Sept. immediately after the achievement. 

 The PTA headed the programme. Sri Madhava Bhat K, PTA President,Sri Narayanan P. Principal in charge, HSS, Sri Vishnu Bhat A., Headmaster, and teachers Sri Raghavendra K, and Sri Sasi K.K. addressed the students -illustrating  the venture .

          As per the instructions from the Dept. arrangements were made at the school for the students to watch Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi's Address to the students on the occasion of Teacher's Day Celebration which is a new experience to the young minds.

The arrangement was through Internet- access to DD Chandana channel since the programme was not available through VICTERS as announced. All the students present though rather small in number(because of the limited facility available in the IT lab) viewed the whole programme.

The headmaster Sri Vishnu Bhat A, alongwith many teachers  witnessed the event.

ONAM CELEBRATION

   Onam was celebrated at the school with the active participation of all students.  

 

They welcomed Maveli with gorgeous pookalam, decorated classrooms, neat surroundings and traditional chanting of welcome song alongwith keralite ways of welcoming.

Maveli accompanied by his servant visited every 'house' and showered with blessings.

All the students shared their joy with Maveli by giving him a sumptuous 'sadya' and bade him farewell with an invitation to visit again in the following year.

EQUIVALENCY EXAMINATION- 2014

         The Class Tenth Equivalency Examination commenced  in the school on 27-09-2014 with 36 candidates in Malayalam Medium.

 

The District Educational Officer visited the centre as part of monitoring the conduct of the examination and expressed satisfaction on the smooth running.

       Kum. Shreeja Rai M. of Std X has won the SECOND PLACE in the KUMBLA SUB DISTRICT LEVEL C.V.RAMAN ESSAY COMPETITION (KANNADA) organised by the Sub-district Science Club Association.

      She is selected to participate in the District Level Competition.

68th INDEPENDENCY DAY CELEBRATED

         The 68^th Independence Day was celebrated with the true spirit in the school. Smt. Janani M . Vice President, Karadka Grama Panchayath unfirled the National Tricolour alongwith the chanting of the Flag by the students.

Sri Madhava Bhat K. President of PTA presided over the programme. Sri Narayanan P. Principal in charge addressed the Assembly and called upon the students to preserve and enjoy the Freedom brought to us from the hands of the Western Colonial Powers.

 Sri Vishnu Bhat A. Headmaster spoke on the occasion and reminded the students of the sacrifice rendered to regain the dignity of the Nation by innumerable Freedom Fighters. Several students presented their vision of freedom before their friends .

         Cultural Programme followed the event. The Assembly disbursed following the distribution of sweets which has been sponsored by the Grama Panchayath for several years.

       All the HS,VHS,HSS students of the school participated in the programme in the leadership fo Kum,. Anju P. , with the genuine spirit of patriotism to the Nation and Homage to the martyrs who had laid down their lilves for the Nation.
